Starting her professional career in 1964, Alice Stuart blazed the trail
for women in Rock and Roll as one of the only females in the country to
write her own music, front a male band, and play lead guitar on national
and international circuits during the 1970s. Various artists have done
covers of her songs and she has appeared on many compilations, the latest
of which is Blues Guitar Women released by Ruf Records October, 2005.
The film “The Station Agent” used one of her songs from her
most recent studio CD on the soundtrack for the movie. She has 7 CDs to
her credit and another planned for the fall of 2006.

the attention of the Northwest Blues Community. Her band The Red Hot Blues
Sisters have been nominated by the Washington Blues Society as Best Band
2006.

tribute band Hell's Belles. Hell's Belles has racked up numerous awards
and accomplishments, including meeting AC/DC and inspiring a near deluge
of female tribute acts around the country to follow in the footsteps of
Amy's idea by paying homage to their favorite band. She wins over every
person who sees her play live with her drive and passion.
On her new CD, This Fall, Amy took on the role of producer and engineer
as well as performing all the instruments and vocals. Currently she is
performing regional solo acoustic shows and with her live band made up
